Our Cheerleader!

This is Marli's idea of basketball...eating a cookie and cheering for Tai!

That's my idea of pretty much any organized sport. I like to be the cheer-er NOT the player.

Silly things Tai and Marli say...

While standing out on the beach and looking out at the horizon, Marli asked me, "Mom, where's all the mermaids? I can't see them."

Mom, how come I can't stay 4? I don't want to be 5 because then you won't pick me up!

Marli told me today, "Mom, why do you and Dad have hair in your nose?" I answered, "It is something everybody has to help keep dirt and gunk out of your nose." Marli made a yuck face and said, "No, I don't have hair~~I just have boogers!"

Seri (my niece) and Marli were getting their hair done this morning. Here's there conversation: Marli says, "Ooh, Seri your hair looks so beautiful, like a princess." Seri says, "Thanks, Mar-Mari. Your hair looks pretty, too." Marli adds, "Seri, when we're bigger we can do our make-up like rock-n-roll princesses and our hair can look like Barbie's hair, but bigger." Seri giggles and says, "Yeah, but our mom's can still do our hair when we're big girls, huh?" Marli said, "You bet! Our mom's are the best hair-doers!"

So, Marli tells Kevin the other night, "Daddy, you better be nice to me or else you're going on Santa's naughty list. You know what daddy? Swiper the Fox is already on the list because he's REALLLLLLy naughty, huh?"
